How did you type those letters in the first place?

I bound those letters to macro keys on my corsair k95 keyboard using iCue because there is no other way to type them on azerty keyboards

Can you share the exact macro you use? Can you also record a short viedeo to describe the current behavior? Thanks!

It's just the "TEXT" feature in iCue https://i.imgur.com/xCNEvmo.png

video.zip
i type random letters, then CTRL+A, it works
then i type the ÀÉÈ characters, i CTRL+A, doesn't do anything, i click another window, then back on Notepad, and i can CTRL+A without problems

Is this issue still happening to you? If it is, can you send this issue to WinUI repo for Microsoft to take a look at? Since this is related to WinRT RichEdit control.
