We have recently started to use EXT GPIO 400 as power LED input from DUT. I have noticed that on some platforms it worked well on some not (i.e. the read was always returning 0). Results were different even among the same platforms from one family.
However there was a small difference in how the connections were made. Some RTEs were powered from the microUSB from the HAT, while others had the microUSB power supply plugged to Orange PI. Only those powered from Orange PI microUSB port were working correctly.
I suspect it might have something todo with how the power rails are generated by Orange PI vs RTE HAT. For now the workaround is to power the whole RTE by Orange PI microUSB slot.
