Undefined Variables and API Request Failure in popup.js

While testing the Chrome extension, I encountered the following issues in the popup.js file:

Undefined Variables:
Lines 60 and 61 log undefined, indicating that variables may not be properly initialized or assigned a value.
At line 185, an Uncaught ReferenceError : newsKeys is not defined error occurs, suggesting the newsKeys variable is used without being declared or initialized.

Empty Object in Logs:
The console logs Old Keys: followed by an empty object ({}), suggesting that the expected data is not being fetched or stored correctly.

API Request Failure:
The API call to phcg4hgf84.execute-api.us-east-1.amazonaws.com/dev/pred fails with net::ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED.
The request includes key=undefined, indicating a potential misconfiguration or an uninitialized API key.
