Is there a language mode?

I’ve just arrived here; I understand that Japanese isn't natively supported, but is it possible to localize it into Japanese by editing the files?
I tried changing some text in the files, but the changes didn't take effect—do I need to rebuild it?

To answer your questions:

• Your text changes won't take effect until you rebuild the project. The frontend assets are compiled and bundled during the build process, so edits to raw source files will not show up in the running application automatically.

• This project currently does not have a built-in i18n system or dedicated language pack files. All interface text is hardcoded in the source code, so localizing to Japanese would require modifying the text strings directly across the relevant source files — there is no dedicated path to add a language pack right now.

If you'd be interested in contributing native internationalization support to the project, feel free to open a pull request, we'd be happy to review it.

We do have plans to add a proper i18n system and full English localization support down the road (๑•̀ㅂ•́)و✧
Unfortunately, we're currently short on development manpower, so we don't have the bandwidth to work on this feature for the time being (´；ω；｀)
