[FEATURE REQUEST] Reflect folders in sync servers #402
Comments
@cd-FileX folders are synced when you sync app data. However there are a few issues while syncing "back" on a new device. |
To clarify my situation a bit: App data is without any folder names and contains a lot of unneeded stuff, which also isn't in the correct format to work with it. Hope you can somehow implement it. |
@cd-FileX ok i understand now! sorry i totally misread your issue. That is something which can be done. |
@cd-FileX will be in next version! you need to enable it in your sync service settings |
Thanks! Testing it right now.
Also, don't worry, it was a bad explanation from my side.
|
Now syncing fails (doesn't even start but spins forever) unconditionally...
Tested it
- firstly with standard setup, both sides have files and let them fight
- delete all app data (even fails without any scans)
- delete all server documents
Connection test is successful, no requests to server except the test.
|
@cd-FileX OK think I know what s happening . really sorry will look at it tonight |
Thanks.
Just tested the folder sync, works as before though. so, well, no folder sync...
also, there is no backward sync from the server, but I guess I should create another issue for this
|
@cd-FileX you are saying when using PDF/Image webdav sync, and with the "use doc folder as subfolder", then files still are created at the webdav top level? |
correct.
btw, the camera is currently not working, "missing permission"
|
@cd-FileX the permission issue should be fixed now. Also i improved folder sync. Is this still an issue? I tested here and it worked |
Thanks. The folder sync doesn't work yet here though.
Putting a scan into a folder in the app and sync will still place it in /[scan name].
|
@cd-FileX ok need to dig deeper into this. Can you share a screenshot of the sync settings? We are talking webdav PDF settings right? |
Sure, here you go:
