Consuming this module in a project with mypy gives the following error:

error: Skipping analyzing "allianceutils.util": module is installed, but missing library stubs or py.typed marker [import]

Type information is in fact present but mypy won't use it unless the package has the appropriate declarations

  • add local mypy checks
  • declare that the module includes inline type info
