Looks like there's currently 2 "valid" ways to remove Edge outside the EEA.

I'm yet to test this EEA enforced QoL! Knowing microsoft, they will add artificial breaking in other areas to discourage the change..

I can confirm Edge Removal works with Method 2. I have not yet tested Method 1, but I expect Method 1 to be "rolled back" every few Windows Updates.
