Copy files recursively to the destination in Windows creating unwanted folders

I want to copy image files from F:\ to C:\IMAGE_STORAGE_PATH\. In my mac, it works fine as long as the path is linux bases. However, I got the following result when it's in Windows.

I definitely provides the / but it doesn't fix the problem.

Any ideas?

btw, if I copied F:\Totoro pictures2 to C:\IMAGES_STORAGE_PATH\, it works fine.
It only happens when I copy from the disk root F:\.
