Communication postponed

Describe the bug

We use BOINC on a Windows 8 system. We try to participate in Asteroids@home. The project list keeps telling that communication is postponed for an hour. After that the counter starts again. Do you have any idea what is the problem / solution?

BOINC uses system root certificates to communicate with the projects.
Are you able to reach Project's website from that machine? If yes - does your browser show a warning about invalide certificate?

I got a list with citizen science projects like Climateprediction and Astroids@home. Of which I chose the last one.

We saw no warning about invalid Certificate .

Please go to the BOINC Manager -> Tools -> Event log options
and enable 'http_debug'.
Then try to update the Project and check the logs for the issues.
