Quick update for folks landing here via the recent traffic spikes — we just pushed a big cleanup pass:

• CI is now green and strict — zero lint warnings across 3000+ files, all type-aware rules enforced at error level, full test suite (5400+) green on every commit
• Docs tightened — the READMEs Quick Start flow is now smooth (thanks to feedback from people who tried it and hit friction). Added a desktop/README.md for the Control UI, clarified pnpm gateway:watch vs pnpm start gateway, fixed broken links
• P2P availability improvements — public bootnode at p2p.bitterbot.ai, auto-relay + dcutr hole-punching for NATd nodes

If youre new and something breaks, bitterbot doctor is your first stop — it walks ~25 subsystem checks and almost always pinpoints the issue. If it cant, open an issue or drop it here with the doctor output.
