Create a Section called initiatives under about us

Our Current Initiatives are:

Build Black Developers

Create opportunities to partner with learning platforms to provide free/discounted access to content.
Promote and amplify open source projects that are maintained by Black Python Devs members.
Current/Developing Partners
TalkPython Training
Python Morsels (In Planning)

Build Local Community Initiative

Sponsor regional conferences to provide tickets to local Black Python Devs members to increase involvement in local communities.
Provide support to local conferences to reach local Black communities.

PyCon Nigeria

Black Python Devs Opportunity Fund (Planning)

Provide supplemental funding to help Black Python Devs members attend impact conferences (Conferences that can lead to personal developer career growth opportunities in the Python community)

DjangoCon US 2024
PyData Global Events

Users to Leaders Initiatives

Partner with programs and communities to create pipelines to establish more leaders from Black Python Devs members. We hope to get them involved, mentored, and develop them into leaders.
