[Request] Re-Add Guoda Light (or well, the ability to guoda anything)

Hi!

This mod removes the ability from being able to keep the effect of an item when you've swapped away from it while storing it at the same time. This is typically used to keep the light from a flashlight without needing to hold it as an item, and also allows other players to have the light from a flashlight without needing to equip it.

Because of this, my request is simple: Can there be a toggle to re-add a feature like this? This mod is a very nice QOL mod to have and having to keep it disabled in order to keep guoda light kind of sucks.

I hope that this can be resolved, b/c as I said before this mod is a really neat QOL mod and I'd love to include this in my mod list whilst being able to do things in the game that me & everyone else I paly with enjoy having the ability to do.

though, my hopes are low as it seems the developer of this mod has gone inactive.

I'm not inactive, just a lot less active since there hasn't been much going on in the Lethal Company sphere. Still waiting for Zeekerss to get v80 out, hopefully "soon" :)

I feel a bit awkward leaving exploits like this in the game, since there really is no argument against this being an unintended interaction. Also, this is just how I personally feel - there are so many interactions I have fixed that benefit players (like buggy forest keeper sight mechanics, spike traps spawning inside the mineshaft elevator and making main entrance unusable, turrets shooting through you walls/props, etc.) that it feels "fair" to keep bugfixes for unfair advantages like this as "part of the mix" as well. Regardless, I know there is a precedent set for configurability with other exploits, like the dog jump cheese thing, so I won't dismiss this.

Anyways, while I'm aware of this exploit, I've never purposefully made an attempt at fixing it - which means it was fixed as a side effect of another fix I've implemented. (Most likely the fix for having different types of flashlight turned on in your pockets at the same time.) I will look and see what making it configurable would entail.

I've had another update sitting on the backburner forever, since I'm not in a huge rush to release anything right now. I will take a look at this, and if it's easy enough to quickfix, maybe it will go out "sometime before v80" with those other minor changes.

That's a completely fair response. If this does end up becoming a configurable option then that'd be quite delightful, but if not, that's also fine. Hopefully it'll be a win-win situation, we'll see.
