Things:

  • pindakaas is available via pip on pypi, so it's not local install
  • pindakaas is indeed incremental SAT
  • On "technology", pindakaas should be SAT (or at least the same as PySAT).

From a discussion in our sub-group, there are actually two types of paradigms, which I'd call:

  • the "modelling" paradigm (i.e. what constraints does it support; what is the "highest-level" constraint is supported? Like PySAT, pindakaas supports PB constraints)
  • the "solving" paradigm, which solving technology is doing the heavy lifting in terms of solving, which should be SAT for both PySAT and Pindakaas

The technology from this table probably refers to the latter solving paradigm
