issue with starting

I know this is my end, but I am having a hard time firguring out what to do. If you could make some more detailed instructions for newbies like me that would be nice of you.

This is useful only if you are using Total Commander file manager. This project is a standard packer plugin for it. Installation, usage, etc. are no different than any other packer plugin, and it's described in the Total Commander documentation. That's why I did not include these details in readme. If you are struggling with something in particular, please, tell what it is.

Also, keep in mind that the project has not been updated for a long time, and the SII format changed since then. The plugin will not be able to unpack the game.sii save files from the latest ETS2/ATS game versions. The underlying libraries need to be updated for that.

You can still use this for unpacking sii-files, but you need to set the g_save_format variable to "2" in the config.cfg file in Documents\Euro Truck Simulator 2.

Well, that's true. But g_save_format=2 means that the save game is only encrypted, not binary, so it takes more time to perform the save. Depending on how much data is stored (how many roads/companies are visited, number of trucks, drivers, etc.) it may cause a significant lag on each save.
