Attaching cables to battery-less vehicles

Currently, you cannot attach jumper cables to battery-less vehicles. My intent was to build a cartoony bicycle generator and attach it to a standing appliance network with a battery. The vehicle itself didn't have a battery, but it had an alternator, and I attempted to hook up the bicycle to the appliance network, but that doesn't work unless the vehicle has its own battery.

Solution you would like.

I would like the ability to hook up jumper cables to vehicles that have alternators and engines, even if they are lacking batteries, so the wattage can be transferred to a car with a battery, or a standing appliance network.

Describe alternatives you have considered.

Being able to build a standing alternator bike generator as an appliance and have that act as an energy source.
