PGSPW1 issues

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Connect PGSPW1 with it's cable.
2. plug into my USB port.
3. run ./kalenji_reader
4. LIBUSB_ERROR_TIMEOUT.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
make gpx data for endomondo.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
I've tried in ArchLinux(VMware in OSX), OSX(10.9.1). but, both case show same 
message. 

Please provide any additional information below.

Sorry, I was at the specified link, but there is no attachment there. In addition, I do not understand how to use such a file with such an extension?
