How to change border colors?

I tried to change the border colors by doing,

<DataGrid
  style={{
    height: 'calc(100vh - 180px)',
    '--rdg-background-color': 'black',
    '--rdg-header-background-color': 'black',
    '--rdg-border-color': 'white',
  }}
/>

It worked for the background color, but the border colors didn't change.

Now that I do a double take, it's not showing the default border color either.
