906 Bios - No backlit keyboard when using usb-c dock with external monitor

Titel says it all.

Upgraded from 502 to 906. First experience is great. The fan curve is way better now. But after doing some testing I ended up having one issue which wasn't present in the previous bios.

The backlit keyboard (F10 key) works fine when using the laptop as is. However, after connecting a usb-c docking station (with charging and external monitor) the backlit keyboard shuts down. The F10 key becomes unresponsive. I have searched online for this same issue for the past hour, but haven't found anything close to this problem.

Is this a setting I'm overlooking or is this a new "feature" of the 906 bios? Any thoughts?

I would say try to clear CMOS as a first step. If it does not fix the issue you can try to downgrade and upgrade again and it it does not do the job either it is probably a bug that has to be fixed by Xiaomi, but I think that this laptop is dead if you consider BIOS updates! :/

Is clearing CMOS an option with this laptop? How would you clear CMOS (without opening it up and detaching the main battery, assuming that does the job. I don't believe this laptop has a CMOS battery?).

This bug is clearly related to the docking station with external monitor. It worked fine under 502. The backlight only stops working when connecting the dock with external monitor attached. it doesn't matter if the dock is being powered or not. So it seems related to the monitor (only thing that's attached). Was hoping someone here would have a usb-c docking station and could confirm this. I'm guessing you don't have one laying around? ;) Don't really know where else I should ask this question..

I will try downgrading to 603 than, as this doesn't seem to be a driver/setting issue.
