subject no longer available?

Not sure if this is the right place to ask, but I've noticed that I can no longer get "subject" from article metadata. This seems to have changed fairly recently?

Example: I pulled metadata for https://api.crossref.org/works/10.1007/s10530-018-1755-7 a few weeks ago and recorded two subjects,

• Ecology
• Ecology, Evolution, Behavior and Systematics

but this is no longer available?

I'm experiencing the same issue with all DOIs that I tried.

Examples:

• 10.4007/annals.2010.173.1.3
• 10.1137/1037083
• 10.1364/oe.14.008849

@pdavis8 did you figure out yet why this is happening?

Actually, I just found a DOI where it's still working: 10.4007/annals.2010.173.1.3

It seems to be working for https://api.crossref.org/works/10.1007/s10530-018-1755-7 and https://api.crossref.org/v1/works/10.4007/annals.2010.173.1.3 as you say.

I will ask around to see if there is any reason why the others don't have subjects now.
