Outdated year, and homepage text visibility issue

Describe the bug

I noticed a few issues on the main website that affect UI clarity. These seem related to styling.

Issues Identified:

1. Outdated Year

• The displayed year is outdated.
• It needs to be updated to 2026 (likely in the footer or metadata).

2. Homepage Text Visibility Issue

• The text:
  “Welcome! Start your learning journey today.”
• is not clearly visible with the current theme.
• There appears to be insufficient contrast between the text and background, making it hard to read.

Expected behavior

• The displayed year should be updated to 2026.
• The homepage welcome text should be clearly visible and accessible with the current theme.
