Title
Issue Tracker Reset for A0–A2 Architecture Alignment
Problem & Justification
CORE has progressed significantly beyond the v1.1 Operational Hardening roadmap. The current issue tracker reflects an older architecture and no longer aligns with the Mind–Body–Will model, constitutional governance, or the A0–A2 autonomy pipeline.
This issue proposes a full reset and reorganization of the issue tracker to reflect the system’s current architecture, governance model, and development priorities.
Proposed Solution
Proposed Steps
-
Bulk-close all outdated issues with a standardized message:
Closed as part of the Issue Tracker Reset. Superseded by the modern CORE architecture (A0–A2) and the current governance model.
-
Archive the old v1.1 Operational Hardening roadmap, which no longer reflects the system’s current capabilities or development direction.
-
Create a new pinned Roadmap issue aligned with:
- Mind–Body–Will architecture
- Constitutional Guard mechanisms
- A0–A2 autonomy pipeline
- Current and near-future development goals
-
Introduce a fresh issue schema, including:
- A3 Planning & Reflection Architecture
- Governance Expansion (constitutional validations)
- Public API & Extensibility Layer
- Developer Experience (DX) improvements
-
Update labels and milestones to match the new architecture and workflows.
Expected Outcome
A clean, accurate, and future-proof issue tracker that reflects CORE’s modern architecture and communicates clearly to researchers, contributors, and maintainers.
Constitutional Alignment
clarity_first: Makes the system easier to understand.
Acceptance Criteria / Sub-Tasks
Additional Context
CORE has evolved from a Python-based autonomous agent into a constitutional AI development framework with a Mind–Body–Will architecture and a governed autonomy pipeline (A0–A2). The issue tracker reset ensures that contributors, researchers, and maintainers see an accurate representation of the system's current state and strategic direction.
This cleanup also improves onboarding, reduces confusion, and prepares the repo for external engagement following outreach to researchers and agent-framework authors.
