Add install instructions to access arbitrary files from inside an extracted archive

The trench knife download has the following organization: "M1918USTrenchKnifeV.10.rar\M1918USTrenchKnifeV.10\VirtualObjects\ustrenchknife". How do I write the install steps to extract the actual file into H3VR\VirtualObjects?

There isn't a way of doing this yet. I will look into some possibilities, although honestly the format of that mod zip file really is non-standard and I would not want to encourage people to do the same.
