Failed to parse save file - Possible incompatibility with a mod?

I am running the latest version of the Save Editor with the latest 2.21 update of Cyberpunk and so far I have had no issues in editing save files until my most recent one I just started.

The only thing that is different from my previous saves is that I have used the mod Fresh Start as my lifepath and now I get the same error message every time. The error file is attached:

TLDR; It is already fixed in the source code but not available in the current Nexus release

I was encountering the "Invisible body bug" in-game and tried anything to fix it but the only fix I couldn't try was using this tool because I was facing the same problem you encountered (PS: this tool did fix my problem :D ). The problem is exactly what you stated, saves are marked with your character's background and for this particular setup the character as multiple at a times instead of one. As a dev I said to myself "Let's try to see if I can fix it !"

It appears that it is already fixed LOL. When downloading the source code and running it on my computer (with Visual Studio) I saw it was not the same interface as the one from Nexus (ex: it is only compatible with pc saves).
When loading my modded save in the tool I got no error, character menu told me that my background was "Modded" instead of the game default's "Corpo", "Street Kid", "Nomad" background.

So if you have some time to spare (~20min maybe more if you don't know how to use VS) you only need to download the source code and Visual Studio to get this running and you will be able to alter your save.

I imagine that this feature is not available on Nexus because they also removed the PS4 support, but damn, it would be cool to know that this particular problem is already solved.

/!\ As the fixed version haven't been released on the Nexus I can only warn you that there may be a reason for that (bugs, save corruption, etc...). As it still seemed to work on my side I will give you a way to run it on Windows. Also you will need Admin rights and ~20Go to spare

LOL Future me there, I made oopsies while writing this and ordering how to do things, you shouldn't encounter any problem following my steps ! But if you do have some "incompatible" or "load failed" as I do on my screenshots just right click on Solution 'CP2077SaveEditor' and search for "Resolve Errors" that should do the trick. If you do not see those, then congrats you did follow the correct order unlike me

1. For this you have to download the source code of CyberCat available on the project page (Code > Download ZIP) and unzip it.
2. Then you will need to download WolvenKit source code here and unzip it in CyberCat. If you've done it right you should have in your "CyberCat-SimpleGUI" folder multiple files/folder and a folder named "WolvenKit".
3. Then you have to build/run the program, for this download Visual Studio Community Edition from Microsoft and install it without downloading any packages, VS (referring to Visual Studio) is very smart and will download all you need.
4. Then launch the "CP2077SaveEditor.sln" file located in the project with VS. After skipping a lot of error pop-ups, you should have an interface similar to this:
5. Click on "Solution Explorer" and like the image below click on "Install" and validate the installation:
6. After it successfully installed you should be back in VS and should see this, its time to click install again
7. Now you should be able to build and execute the project by clicking the run/play button like so. It should take a minute or so for the first launch and voilà !

Like I said before I'm not responsible of any damage you make on your saves, please do backups and then enjoy
