Export PNG

Hey Duncan!
Thank you for your code. it works really good 🙌

I've been trying to export the final result to a PNG but no success so far. I only get to export the Full image without the erased section.

I was wondering if by any chance have you done it before?

Use below method for it

 extension UIView {
    func asImage() -> UIImage {
        let renderer = UIGraphicsImageRenderer(bounds: bounds)
        return renderer.image { rendererContext in
            layer.render(in: rendererContext.cgContext)
        }
    }
}       

func saveImage() {
        let image = imageContainer.asImage()
        if let pngData = image.pngData() {
            let imageURL = getDocumentsDirectory().appendingPathComponent("image.png", isDirectory: false)
            do {
                try pngData.write(to: imageURL)
                print("Wrote png to \(imageURL.path)")
            } catch {
                print("Error writing file to \(imageURL.path)")
            }
        }
    }
