  • In the Windows IDE, pressing (it also has a dedicated [⋄] button and a Syntax>Array Notation menu item) from within an Editor switches to APLAN mode. Ride should have comparable capabilities.
  • Reformatting in APLAN mode, use the interpreter to reformat (even if set to use Ride's own formatter) because it can have execution side effects
  • When default output is using APLAN, the output should be understood as an input group
  • When editing any line of a multi-line input group, the margin should show a bracket (not round blobs) and should undo all changes in the entire block
  • Allow "broken" [] and ()
