Hello Cathynz, thank you for submitting this issue! We are super excited that you want to help us make Dynamo all that it can be. However, we need some more information in order for the Dynamo team to investigate any further.

Can you please fill in the following to the best of your ability:

  • What did you do?
  • What did you expect to see?
  • What did you see instead?.

Additional information:

  • Filling in of the provided Template (What did you do, What did you expect to see, What did you see instead, What packages or external references (if any) were used)
  • Attaching the Stack Trace (Error message that shows up when Dynamo crashes - You can copy and paste this into the Github Issue)
  • Upload a .DYN file that showcases the issue in action and any additional needed files, such as Revit (Note: If you cannot share a project, you can recreate this in a quick mock-up file)
  • Upload a Screenshot of the error messages you see (Hover over the offending node and showcase said errors message in the screenshot)
  • Reproducible steps on how to create the error in question.

Dynamo 2.15 and up contain the graph node manager, a view extension which allows copying individual node warnings, or export node info to CSV. Read more here: https://dynamobim.org/dynamo-core-2-15-release/#:~:text=state%20counter%20buttons-,Graph%20Node%20Manager,-For%20those%20looking

Since Revit 2023 incorporates 2.16 you should be able to use that without issue. Selection of node error text has been re-enabled in 3.4 so a future update will enable the old behavior.

For reference, this in progress PR adds the ability back: #15791

For simple screen text grabbing (via OCR) i suggest this tool: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/powertoys/#text-extractor

Closing this as it is work in progress to enable copying again. If you have more to add to this, feel free to reopen.
