Description
Is there an existing issue for this?
- I have searched the existing issues
Observed behaviour
So, this is more of a compatibility issue because this can’t be done with just wizardry.
First off, using the possession spell DOESN’T clear your baubles, you still have them equipped while possessing.
… I noticed that this includes AE2 Wireless Terminals. (and presumably also any other bauble that would behave the same way)
wireless terminals, let you open up your ae2 storage, solely with a hotkey.
If you possess a mob that is holding something, you have that item in your inventory, but can’t normally drop it. However, by opening up the wireless terminal, I’m able to insert that item into storage. I then unpossess, and the mob gets the item back. Repossessing the mob lets you repeat this, again and again.
Seeing how zombies can hold any item you throw to them, and can be possessed…. this lets you dupe any item.
Expected behaviour
Either I wouldn’t be able to open this inventory, wouldn’t be able to insert items into it, or the item wouldn’t come back after unpossessing and repossessing.
Or maybe I just shouldn’t keep my baubles while possessing in the first place
Steps to reproduce
- Find or create a possessable mob that is holding the desired item
- Equip some bauble that gives you a storage GUI that you can open with a hotkey
- Possess the mob
- Open the storage, and put the mob’s item in storage
- Unpossess the mob, see that the item is still being held
- Possess the mob again, and repeat the process again and again, duplicating the item

Other mods
did this in a big pack at first, but i’ve reproduced this with just wizardry and AE2. Presumably this is also doable with any other mod that gives you a “storage” openable with a hotkey, that comes in a bauble slot.
