Tags for users

As a badge maker I need to classify the participants of the conference in different groups:

• keynote speaker
• trainings participant
• conference participant
• organizer
• volunteer
• EPS member
• speaker
• trainer
  ...
  Matching users in different lists with emails and full names is flawed.
  It would be nice to have tags for the users/conference, so that I can:
• take these tags from the users to better create badges,
• copy the tags from one conference to the next.

I've spoken with @artcz few days ago about this issue and it turns out it's more complicated than than the solution I planned to deliver. Therefore I'm sorry, but can't see enough time resources to accomplish the issue in a reasonable time.
