Can't have a fresh install of stardrop #337

Hi there!
I haven't touched stardew valley/stardrop in a long while and when I tried redownloading it, it seems there's still a bunch of preexisting mods/settings from the last time I played, however whenever I start up stardrop, the popup window where it says there's a new update patch note, would you like to check it out? If I hit either yes or no, stardrop automatically closes itself and I can't click anything else. May I please get some advice?
