Publish to Web Stuck

• I give permission for members of the FlutterFlow team to access and test my project for the sole purpose of investigating this issue.

Current Behavior

When I click on "Publish to web", the icon keeps rotating for very long.

Sometimes I get a toast notification saying that publishing to web is done, but the icon keeps rotating. At those times when I go to check if my application is showing fine on the web url, I see that app won't be the updated one.

However, after few hours I see that app would have got updated.

Please advise what is going wrong here. How long is a "Publish to Web" supposed to take? Can we get a more reliable notification on when the publish to web is done?

Expected Behavior

I expect that I will get notified quickly when publishing to web is done, and when I get that notification if I go to the web url, I would see updated application.

Hi there!

Thanks for your patience. I just tested the issue on a new blank project and wasn’t able to replicate it on my end. Would you mind trying again when you get a chance? It’s possible there was a brief disconnection earlier that might have caused it.

Hi. I tried again (and have tried many many times in past too). The issue is still there.

However, I noticed from your screenshot that you are trying to publish from a different screen. While it shouldn't make a difference I guess, but I saw that when I tried from the screen you tried from, the publishing did succeed finally, although it took about four minutes to publish.

So does it make a difference based on which screen I am publishing from? As you can see from my past video, I was earlier publishing from the toolbar on top.

Also, even though it succeeded from other screen, it took about 4 minutes to publish. Is this usual? Sounds like a lot to me. My app is almost like a blank app right now. Just a few almost empty screens and a few data types. The data in firestore is almost non existent. Really light test app at the moment, but still taking so long to publish.

Maybe I can close this issue, but I think team should look at what is going on. Publish to web does have issue in terms of time, reliability and it not finishing. And then also in terms of live url not showing latest app even after publishing.
