App for Ubuntu Touch

There is currently only a pure YouTube app in the Ubuntu Touch OpenStore. There is no alternative, like on Android or in the desktop area.

I would be very happy if there was a FreeTube version for Ubuntu Touch as well

A quick bit of research seems to say that Ubuntu Touch is just a modified version of Ubuntu, so you can just install the normal Electron version of FreeTube from the website. That's what other Linux phone users do too.

If the normal version would run under ubuntu touch, I would not have made the suggestion.

There are not only functional problems, but also visual design problems. Pure desktop applications do not run under Ubuntu Touch because the size is not automatically adjusted.

It's too small on screen.

Have you actually tried running it, as the UI should automatically adjust to the screen size, like it does in the Android fork?

Please provide screenshots of how specifically it looks on your device.

I wouldn't write it without having tested it first.

As you can see, nothing at all is adapted to the UI. This also does not happen if you install other desktop programs, such as Evolution or even Firefox.

Unfortunately, a screenshot does not reflect reality, as the image is greatly enlarged.

In addition, there is no usable keyboard when you type into the search field at the top.
