Carputer ADV: Charge level Buffering causes unexpected behavior

May also apply to any device with a battery % readout.

It appears updating of the battery readout pauses when the screen sleeps causing odd charge readout behavior

To reproduce:

1. start with a dead cardputer adv
2. plug it in and do not touch untill fully charged - let the device screen fall asleep and do not wake it
3. after the device has charged for a long period of time wake the device and pay attention to the charge readout. You should notice it continuously rapidly increases until it hits an accurate charge level
4. if you let the screen fall asleep again it appears to pause updates again

Expected behavior:
Charge state buffering/smoothing is ignored for the first check after waking the screen
