Enhanced Comment Granularity

Currently, commenting is limited to blocks of text. It would be great to extend this functionality so that users can comment directly on individual words or highlighted sentences/phrases for more precise feedback

Hey! This is something that's been on our radar for a while. The technical implementation makes it a pretty big undertaking though, which is why we haven't introduced it yet. We are working on a lot of commenting and review functionality right now, for instance allowing you to comment more in context of the document instead of only in the sidepanel.

The more we hear about this the more urgency we'll feel to work on it, so you asking for it definitely helps put it more on our radar. So thanks for taking the time! 😄

Oh btw, we did already allow you to comment on cells within tables, while before you could only comment on the whole table. Perhaps that's already useful to know.
