Please paste the output of the following command here: sudo edit-chroot -all
chronos@localhost / $ sudo edit-chroot -all
name: xenial
encrypted: yes, locked
Unmounting /mnt/stateful_partition/crouton/chroots/xenial...
Please describe your issue:
ASUS Flip C100P running xenial encrypted with targets xfce, extension, xiwi
Crouton was working without an issue for over a year with no issues until CrOS77.
Now when I run sudo startxfce tries and fails to start the extension 10 times:
Error: not connected. Cannot connect to extension, retrying... Unable to start display, make sure the crouton extension is installed and enabled, and up to date. (download from https://goo.gl/OVQOEt)
I downloaded the latest Crouton installed and ran: sudo crouton -n xenial -u with no errors but it did not fix the issue.
I uninstalled and reinstalled the Crouton extension and it worked - once. The next time I tried to run Crouton it failed again until I reinstalled the extension again.
So now I have to reinstall the extension every time I want to run Crouton.
Anyone else seeing this or know how to fix it?
