What is your suggestion?
Large shafts to transfer lots of stress units (x4 or x8 the capacity of their tier) from a single big windmill to branch off across an entire production line. It would only need its own big cogwheels to turn corners since the gearshifting to speed up would happen on each branch instead.
It'd be like having big Gregtech pipes and cables.
