What happened?

I have a kinetic source with 15 large water wheels, which can provide 15*64su=960su kinetics, and this is right before I connect kinetic source with machines. However, when these two are connected, the whole kinetic source drops to 128su.

I don't know how Greate calculate the kinetics after I connect kinetic source with machines. Please help me.
