What happened?

There doesn’t seem to be any way to turn rotational force into electricity without using some other mod like Create: Crafts & Additions. It would be a lot more fun if there were SU <-> EU converters like how there are FE <-> EU converters. For even more compatibility, there could also be multiblock hatches that accept rotation as an energy input.

gtceu used to have these, but removed them for balance reasons - so the code is at least already out there
