First, we'd like to thank the team for providing and maintaining this package. We use it extensively with Gov.uk One Login, and it has been incredibly helpful for our work.
We understand that this is an open-source project. However, since it's owned by the HMPO organization, we wanted to ask about the long-term outlook for its maintenance. Specifically:
- How permanent is the team currently maintaining this package?
- We noticed that there was a period where the repository went without commits for a year or so, but it looks like there has been a bit more activity recently. Is the plan to keep updating the package going forward?
We really appreciate the effort that has gone in to this, and we're keen to understand if there are any risks we should be aware of when relying on this package for critical functionality.
