A number of improvements that we can make:
- Explaining the whitelist
- Not forcing you to choose an email on signup
- Linking to email.php on your homepage
- Allowing you to resend a verification email
- Allowing you to select your github email
- Or allowing you to switch your email when you still have an outstanding unverified email
