Megan Vierhout, a freshly minted PhD, won an award at the Canadian Tissue Conference for her presentation entitled, "Searching for a Slice of Fresh Air: Using Precision-Cut Lung Slices to Combat Profibrotic Macrophages" based on her impactful paper! See her holding up her award certificate!

Megan's IBEX image won second place in the McMaster Center for Advanced Light Microscopy's 2024 imaging competition! Another distinguished community member, Vitoria M. Olyntho, won in 2023!!! Awesome work ladies!
