support for JupyterLab 4.x

Hello everyone,

thank you for this great extension.
Do you plan to release a version which supports JupyterLab 4.x?

JupyterLab 4 has become the mostly used version now [1]
and the end of maintenance for JupyterLab 3.x has been set to Mai 2024 [2]

I think this project is abandoned.

I drafted a PR #115 on that with copilot's help. It worked for me. It would be nice if someone with more experience could review the implementation.
