@vague2k Appreciated, there isn't much more documentation of Fog than what's on the wiki and in the JavaDocs.
Distant Horizons has an example mod for their API.
I could also recommend taking a look at one of my other mods, LOD Entity Rendering if you'd like a reference for the build script and another usecase of the API.
