Prerequisites

Describe the bug

FUTO Keyboard is on v0.1.24.1 and my installed app is v0.1.24
With "Reconcile version string with version detected from OS" it thinks the installed version is the same as the latest at v0.1.24.1

To Reproduce

  1. Install from FUTO Keyboard v0.1.24 from their GitHub releases. Add the Obtainium config from https://apps.obtainium.imranr.dev/?categories=keyboard and observe that it thinks the installed app matches the latest version.

Screenshots and Logs

Workaround

Disabling "Reconcile version string with version detected from OS" works if you then hit the mark not up-to-date button. If this is the way to go, I'll PR the crowdsourced configuration.

The "reconcile version string" option expects app to be versioned in a consistent format - if the developer changes their format between releases, there's not much we can do aside from disabling the toggle to ignore the OS info entirely. Disabling the toggle won't affect you unless the app gets updates from outside Obtainium (the Wiki has more info). I've opened an issue for the website config (ImranR98/apps.obtainium.imranr.dev#482).

Thanks for the info. I wasn't sure what the best way to handle it was so you have now confirmed that. I appreciate the help! I will also open an issue on their repo to see of I can get them to be more consistent.
