UI hangs for a few seconds after installing/updating app

Describe the bug
Upon updating or installing an app, then trying to either exit the app or switch to another one, the phone's UI freezes for a second or two. Haptic feedback is normal.

To Reproduce

1. Install or update an app in Obtainium
2. Before the "Apps Updated" or "App Installed" banner fades, try to exit the app or switch to anotber activity
3. The UI should hang for a moment

Additional context
I am using gesture navigation, as opposed to 3-button.

I have recorded a video of the bug. You will notice that the app doesn't exit until about two seconds after I swipe up.
