Can't find a way to install the Plex client

The official website only points to the Play Store. The Plex forum has releases but can't be scraped.

Ok - thanks - was thinking I was missing something.

Is there a way I can check myself to determine if the only way to get the app is via play store?

You can check a website for apk links by navigating around like normal, by inspecting the page source, by inspecting a main.js file (or similar file), or some websites have a file directory. Otherwise you would need to try to find the apk on some other trusted source.

Apologies, my previous comment is incorrect. It is possible to retrieve releases from the Plex forum. I was the one who missed something before!
