Hey,

the nextcloud talk android client can be found on Github here:
https://github.com/nextcloud/talk-android/releases

Two versions are available:

The google play version:
gplay-nextcloud-talk-20.1.0RC1.apk

and this one:
nextcloud-talk-20.1.0RC1.apk

I'm totally clueless with regular expressions, perhaps this can be added to the app config page?

You can choose which version you want using the APK filter.

Filter APKs by Regular Expression:

• gplay will target the gplay version
• gplay with the Invert regular expression toggled ON (the toggle directly below) will target the non-gplay version

You would need to revise the previous APK filter to target the version you want. You may also need to add additional filters depending on how the dev produces their releases. A good example of a repo with multiple versions or apks is Cromite browser. I explained how to target different apks within that repo here (#165 (reply in thread)) directly below a comment of yours.
