I'm in the process of finishing the tool, it is actually not finished yet. I have multiple traces of LiveSuit, and have most of the USB commands documented, but need to find a day or two to finish the code to fully implement the whole thing.

It turns out that there is data stored on the flash about the image format, so simply writing an image to the device will not work, there's "bookkeeping" data to update too :(

It would help if you could comment here which device you are working on. I hope to have some time over the weekend to look at this, or worst case during the evenings next week (next year effectively) ;)

my board is a generic one, known as Eken T01A.

I've tried the livesuit things for hours whith headakes and nightmares. (also the linux64 version failed, cannot find the sources).

awflash sounds hope for me :)

now, i manage to try the SDCARD thing (a bootable one).

If i can help you (beta testing) i'd be happy.

would you be willing to let me know how you got Android booting from an SD card? That's one more thing I wanted to look into too ;)

How to pack for img files from the / dump? Trying to
. / awutils / awimage -r Tabimage.img.dumpand
does not arise Tabimage.img.

@golosty: Please note that repacking will only work if the "dump" directory was created by a recent awimage (one that generates the image.cfg). If that is the case, I would be interested to hear about it.

Thank you very much for your hard work here.

Since this project looks stalled would you consider posting your multiple traces of LiveSuit, and the USB commands you have documented maybe in a different github repo. It would have been great to avoid installing Windows just to flash my two all A10 devices.
