Getting "Connection was already closed"

I am using Janusgraph server with Cassandra as backend and Elastic as secondary backend.

I am hitting my Janusgraph server through Python,

def connect(self):
    try:
        connection = DriverRemoteConnection(url=f"ws://{self.properties.get('ENDPOINT')}/gremlin",
                                            traversal_source=self.properties.get('TRAVERSAL_SOURCE'))
        self.__g = traversal().withRemote(connection)
    except Exception as e:
        LoggerUtil.logger.error(f"Connection with Janusgraph Refused with msg: {e}")

It is processing requests fine, but many times it fails with message " Connection was already closed.". After this message, if I hit the API again, it again works fine and then again fails with same message.
