Armaan Malik is an Indian singer,[1][2] previously represented by Universal Music India, and now signed on by T-Series.[3] A finalist on Sa Re Ga Ma Pa L'il Champs Armaan advanced to eighth place with public votes. His first on-screen Movie appearance in 2011 Movie Kaccha Limboo .

Armaan is the son of music director Daboo Malik by his wife Jyothi. He belongs to a family which has been active in Bollywood for three generations. His grandfather, Sardar Malik, was a noted music director, while his great uncle was the lyricist Hasrat Jaipuri. In the second generation, Malik's own father, Daboo Malik, and uncle Anu Malik are music directors and occasional singers. In the third generation, Malik's elder brother is the music director Amaal Mallik, while Malik himself is a debutant in the entertainment industry. While the Malik family is Muslim, Armaan Malik's mother Jyothi (wife of Daboo Malik) is a Hindu by birth.
<h2 style ="font-family:arial;color:orange">Career</h2>
Malik has sung for over 100-200 commercials and about 16 films such as W, Jai Ho, Bhootnath, Rakta Charitra, Chain Kulii Ki Main Kulii, Chillar Party, Hero, Do Lafzon Ki Kahani, Junooniyat to name a few.
He has also dubbed for My Name Is Khan for the English boy and also lent his voice for the character Salim in the radio version of Slumdog Millionaire for BBC Radio 1. Armaan has also given playback for ‘Tumko Toh Aana Hi Tha’, ‘Love You Till The End (House Mix) and the ‘Title Track’ for the movie Jai Ho.[4] Apart from singing, Malik and his music composer brother Amal Malik also featured in the beginning of Jai Ho in the song ‘Love You Till The End'.
He has been learning Hindustani Classical music for about 10 years from Mrs. Rita Kaul and Qadir Ghulam Mustafa Khan (the son of Padmashree recipient Ustad Ghulam Mustafa Khan sahab, a renowned classical maestro and playback singer).
Malik had been signed by Universal Music India in 2011 for his foray into non-film music.[5]
