Does appstore work?

Im using the jailbreak version and didn't login with an apple ID. When I open the app store and other system apps it says it couldn't connect and the page can't be loaded. I'd like to install some apps and it's hard to get ipas because most websites that provide them have malicious ads that i don't know how to block right now
